Nevada Reading Week

 Nevada Reading Week was so much fun.  The students enjoyed so many different activities.  We got to play Reading Bingo everyday with the entire school even though we didn't win.  Mrs. Brody read the story If You Give A Mouse A Cupcake to the school and even gave everyone a cupcake.  Mr. Duck, our librarian, worked so hard to make sure that each student received a free book and scheduled guest readers and even mystery readers.  Our class won the mystery reader on Monday and received an extra free book.  Second grade got a special surprise from Nicholas (a student in our class). Nicholas' mom and grandmother arranged for the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, and Thing 2 to come and read to our grade.  Actually Mrs. Ferreiro read the book while the characters acted out the story.  It was so much fun.
