What I Did Over My Track Break

Now that track break is coming to an end, I am feeling very happy and sad.  I am happy to see all you students and go on our field trip to the Springs Preserve on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.

I did so many fun things over break.  I coached my daughter's soccer team and even though we didn't win every game, we had a blast.  I also was a guest teacher at her school, David Cox ES.  I taught 2 days in kindergarten and 2 days in a primary autistic class.

I went to the movies with my family and saw "Where the Wild Things Are" and I absolutely LOVED it.  If you like the book, then you will love the movie.

My dog, Jasper, got to go to the dog park for the first time, and he was a big chicken.  Even the tiny dogs that were smaller than him scared him.  We took him a few more times and now he is getting used to it.

My husband and I took our daughters and one of their friends to see Nathan Burton.  He does comedy magic at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.  We got to meet him after the show and my daughters were too shy to take their picture with him.  We got to see real live Flamingos at the hotel and they were so pretty,  a few of them were asleep standing on one foot.

Stevie and Libbie are going to dress up for Halloween and go trick or treating.

That about sums it up!  I will see you all on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
